3 Simple Video Advertisement Tips to Increase Sales

Three Ways to improve your video advertisements to increase your sales.  

The year 2023 is here, and video marketing is continually increasing in demand. The problem with that for companies is that the level of competition is getting better. Gone are the days of shooting a video advertisement and hoping it provides a positive return on investment.

Lucky for you, we have been producing video advertisements for over a decade. We have worked with brands like, Dave Chappelle, AT&T, and Alo Yoga. Here are three simple tips on how you can get the most out of your video advertisements.

Tip #1: Get straight to the facts.

 For example, have you ever been to a work or church meeting where the speaker has to fill that 15 minute slot, but the point has already been made within the first 5 minutes?  Cut out the remaining 10 minutes.  ​​​​​​​

Tip #2:  Learn how to tell a story.

I know we’ve all seen those iPhone short form commercials and they’re extremely effective, because they are able to draw emotion.  They’re able to tell this amazing story that gets people emotionally invested into their product or service. Ultimately that emotion transfers into sales. 

A Great Story -> Creates Emotions And A Brand Connection -> Drives Action To Purchase

Tip #3: Have a simple call to action at the end of the video. 

People should know exactly what you want them to do. For example, “follow for more!” Nothing is worse than seeing an advertisement where there is no call to action in the video. We never want a prospect to view the advertisement and think, “That was cool, but what I am suppose to do with this?”

At the end of the day, people need to be told what they should do next.
